Setting up the portal

Interfacing for the MSCM applications into the Portal involves setting up the distributed single sign-on for MSCM and creating a set of custom bookmarks.

For information on the distributed single sign-on, see the Distributed Single Sign-On Solution Installation Guide. When you set up the distributed single sign-on for MSCM, for the service name, use the value for service name in the mscm.filter.properties file.

The person who creates bookmarks in the Portal must be designated as a Portal administrator. To be a Portal administrator, you must have the Portal Administrator attribute set to Y on the Resource Management Information screen of the Lawson Security Administrator's User Management section. For more information, see Lawson Administration: Resources and Security and Lawson Administration: Portal. You should also have the name of the Portal server and MSCM server before creating the bookmarks.
