Barcode format definitions
The following is a list of prefixed fields as well as the detail for the location barcode format. Unless otherwise specified, the barcode is Code128A.

Where LL: is the 2-character indicator, CCCC is the company id and LLLLL is the location code. Company ID is up to 4 numeric digits. Location code is up to 5 characters. ":" is used to delimit the company ID and location code. |

Where BL: is the 2-character prefix and bbbbbbb is the bin or sub location. The code is up to 8 characters long These are used in par locations and inventory locations. |

Where IL: is the 2-character prefix and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa is the (up to) 16-character item number. Note: Item codes can be larger than this. However, it is believed that
healthcare customers will not exceed 16 characters.
Item barcodes with or without Lawson prefix and generated in QR code format is also supported. |
