Setting up a postscript printer in UNIX
To set up a Postscript Printer in UNIX
- 
        Prepare either the command line tools or the System
Management's Interface Tool (SMIT). 
        
Run the command for "smitty printer."
 - 
        Select your printer or an existing default printer. 
        
Select "Other" if your printer type is not listed above.
 - Select "generic Generic Printer."
 - Select "2 Do NOT make this system a BOOTP/TFTP server."
 - Select "generic Generic Printer."
 - 
        Select "PostScript [ ]" and specify the name of the printer
you want to set as the postscript printer.
        Note:
The name you will use will serve as the HOSTNAME of the Report Printer when you add a Report Printer in MSCM.
 - 
        Select "*    HOSTNAME of the JetDirect Card   [  
]" and specify the name of the printer located in your network.
        
Make sure to ping the printer name before adding it.
 - Click Enter to complete the Setup.
