Adding a procedure

  1. Select Configuration in the menu.
  2. Select the Procedure tab on the Configuration page.

    The Procedure panel is displayed

  3. Specify this information:
    Charge Code

    Specify the charge code for the specific service that you want to add for the specific procedure.

    Note: 

    The Charge Code is automatically created in uppercase characters.

    Description

    Specify a short description for the procedure.

    CPT Code

    Specify the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code assigned to a specific service or procedure to properly search for the specific procedure.

    Note: 

    The CPT Code is automatically created in uppercase characters.

    Active

    Set the status of the procedure.

    Chargeable

    Set the chargeability of the procedure.

  4. Save your changes.
  5. Click Return to List to bring you back to the previous page.
