Linking mscmserver to an RM object definition

When linking the mscmserver attribute to an RM object definition using the Lawson Schema Editor, perform these steps:

  1. Link the attribute to the People object.
    Note: 

    Do not make any changes to the attribute properties when stepping through the Add Attribute Wizard.

  2. After adding the attribute to Lawson schema and linking it to the RM People object, generate an LDIF file and load the changed schema to your LDAP server.

    Follow the steps found in "Running the ldifgen Utility" in the Lawson Administration: Resources and Security Guide.

    Note: 

    The custom mscmserver attribute only needs to be added once for all users on the Lawson server. After the attribute is added, each user that needs access to the MSCM Android mobile application needs to have a value assigned to the attribute on their RM user record.
