Alerts
An alert is a business exception indicating that something out of the ordinary has
happened in the flow of application documents or in the business logic of an
application.
One alert can be sent to one or more users. Additionally, each user from the distribution list can close the alert.
Alerts can be generated by these events:
- Event Management monitors
- Alarms that are defined by business users
- The Process.PulseAlert BOD sent by applications
- An API to create alerts
- Business process errors that are generated by the Pulse Engine
