Understanding the context awareness of the Currency Converter

Some applications transfer selected monetary data, in context, directly to the Currency Converter context application for conversion, without the need for manual entry. When information is transferred automatically in context, the light bulb icon in the context application lights up. When the context application is in collapsed mode, a red dot is displayed next to the application icon to indicate that in-context information is available.

The date of the exchange rates used for the conversion is listed at the bottom of the Currency Converter context application.
