Event System user preferences options in the web client

Similar to the Windows client, you can set a variety of display and operational preferences in the web client.

Note: The user preference options in the web client is limited compared to the Windows client.

This table shows the available Event System user preferences options in the web client:


Options	Description/Comments/Procedures
Editing Mode	Select an option from the list. The option that you select determines how metadata is displayed in the Event Actions form, and the behavior of the Event Handler Diagram form. The available options are: Novice: If you select Novice, then in the Event Actions form, the metadata code display is hidden and the button is set to Show Details >>. In the Event Handler Diagram form, these options are set: Any condition specifications are hidden. The sequence number of the node is hidden. Expert: If you select Expert, then in theEvent Actions form, the metadata code is displayed by default and the button is set to << Hide Details. In the Event Handler Diagram form, these options are set: Any condition specifications are displayed. The sequence number of the node is displayed.
Check for new messages every	Select the time interval at which the system is to check your Inbox for new messages.
