The App Builder workspace
The App Builder workspace is the area in which you actually develop your App Builder apps. It consists of three primary sections: the toolbar, the Components/Properties panel, and the canvas.

The toolbar
The toolbar provides access to a variety of common functions, including these:
- Selection of the view in App Builder
- Common editing functions
- Miscellaneous other project settings, option, and activities
The canvas
The canvas is where you actually build your app, placing and configuring components.
The Components/Properties panel
The Components/Properties panel provides for these options:
- Selection of components to be used in the app
- Setting of component properties and attributes
- Access to composite components, including the option to create them
