Deployment

Use the Configuration Management tool to create a global package namespace. After you create a namespace, use the Extension Bundles form in Mongoose to associate that namespace to an extension bundle. On the Extension Bundles form, you can create a new or select an existing extension bundle, and then use the drop-down field to replace the namespace property with the namespace that you created in the Configuration Management tool.

If the namespace that you created in the Configuration Management tool is not available in Mongoose, see the Infor CloudSuite Self-Service Portal Configuration Management Administration Guide for troubleshooting.

To add objects to an extension bundle, use the Export using form, selected items and referenced items option on the Deployment form. Every time the objects of an extension bundle are modified on the Deployment form, click the Generate button on the Extension Bundles form to update the package. This package is the .zip file that is associated with the extension bundle. If you do not regenerate the package after objects are modified, the global package can contain an outdated version of the extension bundle, or the creation of the global package can fail entirely.

You can also use the Deployment form, in conjunction with the Extension Bundles form, to create, modify, generate, download, and deploy extension bundles to Mongoose-based applications. See the Infor Mongoose Application and Form Development Guide for more information.

After an extension bundle that contains objects is associated with a namespace, and an associated .zip file is generated using the Generate button, you can use the Configuration Management tool to include the extension bundle within a global package.
