Data Lake Logs

Use this form to check the Data Lake logs either for a record insertion in progress or one that has completed (or both).

This form is designed to be accessed from the Data Lake Table Status form during or after operations to insert records from a Data Lake source into a localized (bound) table that was created using the Data Lake IDO Wizard. It is typically accessed by clicking the Check Logs button on the Data Lake Table Status form.

This form has these fields and options:

Field/Option Description
Log data grid The top part of this form is a grid that displays the entries currently in the Data Lake log.

To refresh this display for a record insertion operation in progress, execute Filter-In-Place (click Actions > Execute in Place).

The data displayed in this log includes actions performed, results of those actions, and the names of the tables involved.

Clear Logs To clear the entries currently displayed in the log, click this button.
Note: This option clears ONLY those log entries currently being displayed. It does not clear entries that are not being displayed.
Clear All Logs To clear all entries from the Data Lake logs, click this button.
Note: This option clears ALL entries in the Data Lake logs, not just those that are currently being displayed.
Filter by table name To filter the log display so that only entries for a specific table display, specify the name of the table in this field.
Note: This must be the Name of the table, not the Caption.

The log display automatically resets when you exit this field.

Clear by table To clear all entries for a particular table from the log display, specify the name of the table in this field.
Note: This must be the Name of the table, not the Caption.

After you specify the table name, you must then click Clear by table. When you do the log display automatically updates.
