Using the IDO Data Viewer

Use the IDO Data Viewer form to display and view the data associated with a specified IDO/table.

The IDO Data Viewer form is designed primarily to verify the success of a record insertion operation for a localized IDO/table created using the Data Lake IDO Wizard. You can also use this form to view the records data associated with other IDOs, however.

  1. Create an IDO/table from a Data Lake source.
This is accomplished using the Data Lake IDO Wizard. When creating the IDO/table, make sure to select the Create Localized SQL Table/IDO option.
  2. Populate the localized IDO table with the records from the Data Lake source, by inserting them into the table.
  3. When the record insertion operation is complete, open the IDO Data Viewer form.
To do this, click IDO Data Viewer on the Data Lake Data Populator form.
  4. Verify that the IDO that was selected on the Data Lake Data Populator form is the one selected in the IDO field.
  5. Optionally, filter the records that display according criteria that you specify.
  6. Optionally, select which properties of the IDO to display in the grid.
  7. Click Load Collection.
The system loads and displays data from the IDO collection that meet the specified criteria.
