Configuring an M3 instance

Open the M3 Instance form.

From the toolbar, click Create a new object in
the current collection.
- Specify this information:
- ID
- Specify the M3 instance ID.
- Name
- Specify the M3 instance name.
- Rest URL
- Specify the secured M3 REST Service URL (m3api-rest). This
URL is located on the Web Components section of the M3 BE
Application in Infor ION Grid Management pages. Typically, the REST
service using the HTTPS port of the default router is
used.
- Authorization
- Select the authentication method to be used:
- Certificate - If you select this option, specify this
information. This option applies to ION Grid versions
11.1.13 or below, for both single-tenant and on-premise setups.
- Import Cetificate
- Click Import Certificate to browse to the
location of the client certificate. The
certificate must be in a P12 format.
- Certificate loaded
- Automatically selected when a
certificate is imported.
- Certificate Password
- Specify the client certificate
password.

- OAuth1.0a - If you select this option, specify this information:
- Consumer Key
- Specify the consumer key
value.
- Secret Key
- Specify the secret key
value.

Click Save.

Click Test Connection to verify
connectivity with M3.

Select Enable logs in the Logs
section to enable logging.
