Edit ... Validator Parameters

The settings in this topic apply to Alpha, Alphanumeric, Currency, Date, Date-Time, Numeric, and Time types. Use this dialog box to specify the allowable length, range, or value of these types of validators.

Note: The title/name of this dialog box appears differently, depending on what type of validator you are working with, as does the availability of options. For example, if you are working with a validator of type Numeric, then the title of this dialog box displays as Edit Numeric Validator Parameters.

This field specifies the minimum value that is acceptable.
Max (Maximum) Currency

This field specifies the maximum value that is acceptable.
Integer Numeric When this option is selected, it signifies that the values must be integer values.

When this option is cleared, it signifies that values can be decimal values.

DBCS Alpha

This field is used to specify whether the value can be in the form of double-byte characters (Double-Byte Character Set), and if so, what format.
