Open Template To locate and select the XML file that contains a template you want to use as the basis for a new table/IDO/form, click this button.

When you select and open the XML template file, any Data Maintenance Wizard settings contained within that template populate the appropriate fields.

Save Template To save the current table/IDO/form settings as a template for future use, click this button, and then use the Window Save File dialog box to save the settings to an XML file.
Get Database Schema To load and use the schema of an existing database table as the basis for a new table/IDO/form, click this button. Then use the Get Database Table Schema dialog box to select the database table from which you want to use the schema.
Note: This option clears the Name/Property grid in the Data Maintenance Wizard before populating it with the new data.
Add Collection To create a subcollection for your table/IDO/form, click this button.

When this button is clicked, the Data Maintenance Wizard adds two pages to the wizard process:

  • The first new page allows you to specify the IDO collection to be used for the subcollection, as well as other settings. Other than the Subcollection Name field, the options and settings on this page are identical to that used for the primary collection.
  • The second new page provides options to create the linkage and key relationships between the primary collection and the subcollection.

See Adding a subcollection in the New Data Maintenance Wizard.
