Archiving forms

Archiving a form or object removes it from the active development environment and places it in a special archive database. You can archive an object only if no one has it checked out.

  1. Open the Form Control form.
  2. In the Actions group box, select Archive.
  3. Select the Forms tab.
  4. In the Master form name field, select the form you want to archive.
  5. Verify in the field that no one has the form checked out.

The Locked by user field should be blank.

Note:  You cannot archive a form or object that is checked out. Execute Action is disabled if the form or object is checked out.
