App Metadata Transport
Use the App Metadata Transport form to export or import metadata for these objects:
- IDOs
- Property classes
- Custom assemblies
- The Application Events System (AES)
- Replication documents and elements
- Critical numbers
- DataViews
- Form Extensions
This form is designed to be used when the App Metadata Transport stand-alone utility cannot be run due to security concerns.
This form can be used to accomplish these ends:
- Export the application metadata from a source database to an XML file.
- Import the metadata from an XML file to a target database (typically on another system or server)
