Occurs Every (Daily)

To specify that the task will run daily, at a specified interval, beginning at the specified start time and continuing until the specified end time, select the Occurs Every option. Then specify this information:

  • How often to run the task: Specify the number of times per minute or hour.
  • When to start and stop the task: Specify the starting and ending time using a 24-hour clock (HH:MM:SS) or using AM or PM.

The Ending Time field only applies if the interval is less than the time window (start time to end time). If the interval is more than the time window, the end date is not used.

For example, if you set a report to run every 10 minutes, and the time window is 12:00 PM to 05:00 PM, the report runs every 10 minutes starting at 12:00 PM and continuing until 05:00 PM. If you set another report to run every 10 hours, and leave the time window at 12:00 PM to 05:00 PM, the report runs each day at 12:00 PM, and the 05:00 PM ending time is ignored.

You must always have an ending time, regardless of the interval size. If you leave the Ending Time field blank, the system defaults 12:00 pm as the ending time when you click OK.
