Using languages and translations in App Builder projects

To use languages other than U.S. English in App Builder projects, you must use both the Language settings and the Translations settings. These two project-level sets of options work in tandem.

To configure your App Builder project to use a language and translations, use this process:

  1. With your project open, specify the language to make available for the project.
  2. Use the Translations project-level option to define the component and property strings to use in your project.
  3. Optionally, provide any translations you might want or need to use for global strings.
For information about global strings, see the sections on "Global Objects - Strings" and "Naming Conventions" in the main Mongoose help.
