Using standard boundaries

App Builder includes a set of predefined boundaries, called standard boundaries. These boundaries include a variety of screen widths commonly used in computer monitors, mobile phone devices, andInfor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le widgets.

Access these predefined boundaries from the slider:

  1. With your project open, click the lowest segment of the slider.
This segment is identified by the ellipses (•••) icon.
  2. In the Standard Boundaries dialog box, select one or more standard boundaries to add to your project.
Note: You can theoretically select as many standard boundaries as you like. But be aware that the more boundaries you add, the more complicated it becomes to manage the various boundaries and their associated layouts. Depending on how you anticipate that your app will be used, you can often manage fine with just two or three boundary settings.
  3. Click OK.
App Builder adds the new boundary markers to the horizontal ruler in your project. You can now use these markers to help define and test the various boundary settings for your project.
