Exporting an App Builder project

There might be times when you must continue with an App Builder project in an environment other than where it was begun. In such cases, you can export the project as an *.iap file, and then import it into the new environment.

To export an App Builder project, use this procedure:

  1. On the Projects dashboard, locate the project you want to export.
  2. With the cursor hovering over the project panel, locate and click the Export icon.
This opens the Export Project dialog box, with the project name and the current date automatically populating the Name field. You can rename the file as desired.
  3. Click Export.
App Builder saves the project information to a proprietary *.iap-formatted file. This file can be found in the local Downloads folder. You can then transport and import the project into a different App Builder environment.
