Creating an App Builder project

Creating an App Builder project typically involves naming the project, selecting a basic layout, and optionally, assigning tags to the project to make it easier to locate.

To create an App Builder project, use this procedure:

  1. Launch App Builder.
    This opens to the Projects dashboard.
  2. In the banner at the top of the dashboard, click + New Project.
  3. On the New Project page, provide a Project Name.
  4. Optionally, provide a Description.
    This description is used only internally, typically to help identify the app and its use. It displays only on the project panel in the Projects dashboard.
  5. Optionally, assign any desired Tags.

  6. From the Page Templates section, select the basic template you want for your app.
  7. In the banner at the top of the page, click Create.
App Builder automatically opens the project in the workspace.
