Modifying access to an app

Once an App Builder app is published to the App Hub, you can restrict who has access to the activated app. You can restrict access either at the time that the app is activated or later, after the app has been activated. You can also remove restrictions using this procedure. You can make these modifications either to activated or to deactivated apps.

  1. In the App Hub, expand the Menu.
  2. Select the Administration option.
    Note: You can select this option only if you have administrative privileges in the App Hub.
  3. In the App Administration panel, select the App Builder app you want to modify access to.
  4. In the app information panel on the right side of the App Administration page, scroll down to the App Access pane.
  5. To add user roles or groups to the list of restricted App Access, click + Add Role.
    From the list of Select Security Roles, select the check boxes associated with the user roles/groups you want to add, and then click Select.
  6. To remove user roles or groups from the list of restricted App Access, select the role/group to remove.
    Then click Remove.
  7. Click Save.
