Using a URL variable

After creating a URL variable, you can use that variable in your App Builder project.

To use a URL variable, use this procedure:

In your App Builder project, add or select the component for which you want to use the URL variable.
On the Properties panel, select the Content tab.
Select the component property for which you want to use the variable.
From the Source drop-down list, select {URL Value}.
From the Data Field drop-down list, select the URL variable to use.
Optionally, enter a test value into the URL Value field and verify that it behaves as expected in the component.
