New features and enhancements

Modified method of importing Application Event System items in the Deployment form

We modified the method of importing Application Event System (AES) items into the system. When you import a deployment file in the Deployment form, all application events in the deployment file are imported into the system, and existing events, with the same Access As value as the deployment file, are retained.

Prior to this release, whenever you imported a deployment file, all existing application events with the same Access As value as the deployment file, were deleted before the application events in the deployment file were imported.

With this change, if there is an application event in the deployment file that matches an existing application event with the same Access As value, then the existing application event is updated with the matching event from the imported deployment file.

App access to libraries and APIs outside the partial trust

We added a means for developers outside of the Mongoose framework to make their assemblies fully trusted in the inclusion list in the configuration file of the IDO Runtime Service. The full trusted assembly files should be added to the Mongoose installation directory folder.

Added new core language to the application

We now offer Mongoose in Croatian, Slovak, and Lithuanian languages.

New Git staging option in the Configuration Manager

For customers who use Git for source control with Mongoose, the Configuration Manager now has an option to stage changes that are being checked in, instead of automatically committing them. By default, Git commits changes automatically when checking them in. This new option allows you to "batch together" multiple changes into a single commit, without being forced to perform multiple commit actions. Also, custom Git "hooks" can be implemented to enforce certain commit behavior, such as enforcing a certain format for comments.

List of available PDFs

The behavior of the PDF button in content on docs.infor.com has changed. The effects of the change are different in documentation libraries than in single help systems.

In a single help system, click the PDF button to display a single PDF that contains all the content of the system.

In a documentation library, the behavior of the PDF button is also affected by your current position within the library.

If no topic is selected, click the PDF button to display links to all available PDFs within the library.

If a topic is selected, click the PDF button to display a PDF of the topic’s parent document.

To return to the list of links to available PDFs, click the Home button and then click PDF.
