New features and enhancements

Enhanced method for BOD processing

We enhanced the replication architecture to enable BOD replication using the ION Messaging Service (IMS). This method will be utilized in the future, at which time the Replication Inbox/Outbox method will be deprecated.

Support for watermarks on Report type forms

You can now use background images as watermarks on the page level and on any region, within the MainFlexLayout component, of a form report. Watermark images are rendered as is, behind the contents of form reports.

Support for watermarks on Report type forms is available only for PDF, Printer, and Cloud Printer output formats.

Enforcement of Farm-wide prefixing

In the Configuration Manager, we added the FarmEnforcePrefixFromAcessAs entry in the More settings form. This is an Infor-controlled setting that will enforce farm-wide prefixing of user-created objects and prevent users from deleting system tables. If the farm-wide prefix value is 1, the Enforce prefix from Access As system process default is treated as 1 even if the value is 0.

Record cap settings relabeled

We re-labeled some of the user and system settings pertaining to record cap overrides:
  • In the User Preferences dialog box, the Data Record Cap option has been relabeled as User Data Record Cap; and the List Record Cap option has been relabeled as User List Record Cap.
  • The process default previously known as the WinStudio Max Record Cap has been renamed as User Preferences Max Record Cap.
These label changes were instigated by other record cap options that we are creating or changing.

Removed older version of jQuery file

The JavaScript file named jquery-1.11.1.min.js has been removed from the web user control assets and has been replaced with a new JavaScript file with a generic name of jquery.min.js. This new JavaScript file applies to the newer jQuery version 3.5.1.

Customers that use the older version of the jQuery file must update their user component or web user control jQuery resource files.

Infor Support Portal migration update

All active documents for the latest version of Mongoose are now published on docs.infor.com.

This update includes:
  • Publishing the latest copy of the installation guide
  • Incorporating the Infor Mongoose IDO Development Guide and Infor Mongoose IDO Integration with External Applications to the Infor Mongoose User and Administration Documentation Library
All PDF documents on Support Portal are now replaced by PDF files, which contains information on where the document is relocated.
