New features and enhancements

Ability to hide calendar navigation buttons

You can now use the Hide Month Navigation Buttons property to hide the navigation buttons at the top of a calendar component. This property only works for month view. For other calendar views, such as week or day, the navigation buttons are always displayed.

SMTP Email enhancements

In the Settings Editor form of the Configuration Manager, you can now use the FarmValidateFromEmailDomain and ValidFromEmailDomains to secure Mongoose from sending outbound email from the Application Event System (AES), and the TaskMan by checking the sender's email address from the list of valid domains.

Ability to remotely call IDO methods from different servers

Mongoose can now remotely call IDO methods that return values or datasets from sites that reside in a different database or server with the use of Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator or MSDTC.

New rules for logging of diagnostics information

By default, diagnostics information logging is now turned off for users operating in a multi-tenant cloud (MTC) environment. Individual developers and system administrators can turn on such logging for limited periods of time. For environments where Sumo is used for tracking logging information, diagnostic information is not sent to Sumo at all. These changes do not affect users in non-MTC and on-premises environments. For more information, see the help topic Monitoring diagnostics data in the MTC.

New background task profile parameter for enterprise printing

We added a new background task profile parameter in which application developers can specify an IDM Enterprise printer, to print reports that are submitted as background tasks. You can use this new profile parameter to overwrite the default printer settings for your chosen reports.

To use this feature, you must enable IDM Enterprise Printing. If no IDM Enterprise printer is defined, the report is printed using the default settings.
