New features and enhancements

Prompt to save changes on DataView layouts

On the Runtime Behaviors tab of the User Preferences, we added an option to enable or disable a prompt, to save changes made on DataView layouts. When this option is selected, a save changes prompt appears if you close a form in which an updated DataView layout is in use, or if a DataView layout is switched to another layout. The save changes prompt applies to all types of DataView layouts except for DataSearch.

Updated toolbar icons and user interface colors in the Windows client

In the Windows client, we updated the toolbar icons and the user interface colors to match the Infor Design System (IDS) 4.5 styles

Farm-wide API and reports record caps implemented

We added options for farm administrators to add and enforce farm-wide record caps on API calls and on report requests. Record capping is applied based on session type, depending on whether the session is a UI session, service session, or a report session. Limitations apply. For more information, see the new topics regarding record caps.

New configuration option on Language IDs form

In the Language IDs form, you can now use the Space before colon option as a configuration to add a space before a colon for all static labels. You can use this option for the mandatory French rule for typography when selecting the French (France) or French (Canada) language option in the User Preferences form.

Added page-based accumulators in form reports

We added page-based accumulator functionality to calculate and display accumulated values by page in form reports. The page-based accumulators are used in a page-based report format such as PDF, and if used in a non-paged format such as Excel single worksheet, the values will accumulate throughout the entire report.

Toolbar enhancements in online documentation

The toolbar for online documentation has been enhanced. We have added descriptive text next to each icon to improve usability. The Print PDF option, which was under the Print icon, is now represented by a PDF icon. Click the icon to open a PDF of the current document. You can print or download the PDF, or view it in the browser. To print a single topic, click the Print icon.
