New features and enhancements

New methods to remotely retrieve data values

We introduced new functionality to invoke and retrieve values remotely from custom load methods and standard IDO methods. We created new methods that can call and retrieve these values using either extension class code or stored procedures. For more information, see the Infor Mongoose IDO Development Guide.

Enhancements to Log Monitor Policies form

We expanded the functionality of the Log Monitor Policies form to allow dynamic message filtering of logs at runtime. This enhancement is available only when you run the Log Monitor Policies form in the Site Coordinator configuration. Site coordinators can now use the Log Monitor Policies form to add multiple filter policies and override filter policies written in the configuration file. Filter policies can be switched on and off and are executed according to a defined sequence.

Optimized Data Lake manual replication process

We made improvements to make manual replication to Data Lake go faster. We enabled the Local Site Data Only check box. With this update, it is no longer required for a multi-site setup to manually replicate from each site.

New versioning standard

Mongoose has adopted the new Infor standard version number format. The full version number of an update has three segments:
  • YYYY. = the year where the release will first deploy to production, followed by a dot
  • MM. = the month where the release will first deploy to production, followed by a dot
  • NN = the sequence number of the supplementary update to the YYYY.MM version

In preparation for the November update, the version number is 2021.11.00. Depending upon the number of supplementary updates that occur before the November update is deployed, the third segment of this number might change, for example, 2021.11.NN.

The versioning standard for documentation will be 2021.x.

This new versioning standard replaces the previous version number format for Mongoose, which was 2021.MM.
