New features and enhancements

Support for newer Windows Identity Foundation library

Previous to this release, we have been using the Windows Identity Foundation (WIF) 3.5 library to enable federated authentication (SSO) in the web client. With this release, we have updated our code base to work with the newer 4.5 library.

New modes of loading and processing data during form report generation

We added the Report Batch Mode property to reduce the system impact of reports with large data sets when loading and processing data during report generation.

Support of escape sequence for commas in REST V1 endpoints

Certain REST Version 1 endpoints currently accept parameters as comma-delimited strings. However, the commas in these strings can cause issues during parsing, being interpreted as additional parameter values. In this release, we provide the ability for the system to continue parsing these comma-delimited parameters, by replacing the commas with escape sequences. The escape sequences are then converted back into commas before processing the requests.

New Time Picker component available in App Builder

In App Builder, we added a new “Timepicker” component. Much like its cousin, the Datepicker component, this new component allows you to select and display time values. This component can derive its value from static values or from Data Services.

All replication reference material incorporated into the help

With this release, all information pertaining to replication in Mongoose has been incorporated into the online help, available at docs.infor.com. As a result, we are no longer publishing the Infor Mongoose Replication Reference Guide, the Infor Mongoose Multi-Site Planning Guide, or the Infor Mongoose Multi-Site Implementation Guide as PDF publications.
