Designating a form wizard as a Runtime Builder form

Before you can use the Runtime Builder to create a form, a system administrator must designate what types of forms can be created using the Runtime Builder. This is done using the Form Wizard Categories form.

  1. In Mongoose, launch the Form Wizard Categories form.
  2. Execute Filter-in-Place.
  3. Verify that the Access As identifier in both Access As fields match your Access As identifier.
If you are not sure what your Access As identifier is, you can find out by opening the Access As form.

In most cases, the Access As identifier on the Form Wizard Categories form is going to be "Core". If this value, whatever it is, does not match yours (typically blank), you must change the Access As identifier for your system—temporarily!—to match what is used on the Form Wizard Categories form.

  4. In the list of Wizards, select a form type that you want to be able to create using the Runtime Builder.
  5. On the Detail View side, select the Runtime Builder option.
  6. Repeat the previous two steps for each form type that want to be able to create using the Runtime Builder.
  7. Save your changes and close the Form Wizard Categories form.
  8. If you had to change the Access As identifier for this procedure, change it back to its original value.
