About HTML tags in background reports

The Interpret HTML Tags property is used to enable the use of HTML tags in background reports.

Note: HTML content is only interpreted in background reports (print or preview) and not in forms.

The interpreted HTML content is available only in PDF, Word, and printed formats.

For Word formatting, the rendering is done in Word and not in Mongoose.

For Excel formatting, the text content is extracted from HTML and rendered as plain text. Formatting is applied in the same manner as any other static component that holds text.
