Active

When this field is selected on the Event Handlers form, this event handler is recognized as an active handler. This means that the handler executes whenever the event fires. When this check box is cleared, the event handler is considered to be inactive, and the handler does not execute when the event fires. You can use this option to test a new event handler or to temporarily disable the event handler.

When this field is selected on the Event Triggers form, this event trigger is treated as active. This means that the Event Service monitors for the condition, and whenever the condition is met, event handlers associated with that event are executed. When this check box is cleared, this event trigger is treated as inactive. This means that, even when the conditions defined on the Event Triggers form are met, the event is not triggered, and no event handlers for it execute. You can use this option to test a new event trigger or when you want to temporarily disable the event trigger.

For more information, see About form event handlers and Restricting which handlers run.

When this field is selected on the BOD Templates form, the specified BOD template is available for use as part of a Send BOD event action. When this check box is cleared, the template is not available as an option in the Template drop-down list of the Event Action Send BOD form.
