Deleting background tasks
The procedure to delete a background task differs according to what the current the status of the task is:
When the Background Queue form is used to create a job, it creates a record on the Active Background Tasks form with status and the appropriate task name and parameters. It then creates a SQL Server job for the task.
Active Background Tasks form. When you delete a task, both the record and the corresponding SQL Server job are deleted.
