Activating a published app

Once an App Builder project has been published to the App Hub, it must also be activated before it is available for use. The App Hub is available as a separate widget, if being accessed in Infor Ming.le, or as a separate form if being accessed in Mongoose.

  1. In the App Hub, expand the Menu.
  2. Select the Administration option.
Note: You can select this option only if you have administrative privileges in the App Hub.
  3. In the App Administration panel, select your App Builder project.
  4. Optionally, in the project information panel on the right side, modify whatever fields you need to, before activating the app.
This can include the app name, its description, tags, and who has access to the app, among other things.
Note: Typically, access is granted only to those in the AppBuilder User Group; that is, those who have an "APPBUILDER-User" license assigned. However, if you do not specify access to at least one group, access is granted to all.
  5. If you made changes in the project information panel, click Save.
  6. On the project panel for your app, click Activate.
  7. Return to the App Hub and verify that your app appears in the list of available apps.
