Searching for and locating projects

If your work environment has a great number of App Builder projects, it can be challenging to find the one you want to work on. The Projects dashboard offers a number of alternatives to help you search for and locate the project you want.

These are the alternatives you can use to locate projects:

  • All Projects drop-down list - By default, this drop-down list is set to display all the projects in your environment. To display only the projects that you created, select Created by me.
  • Search - If you know at least part of the project's name, you can search on the name by clicking the magnifying glass icon in the banner. Then start typing the project name. As you type, App Builder displays all projects whose names contain that set of characters.
  • By order - The Projects dashboard provides these options for sorting the project panels:
    • The first option displays By Name as the drop-down list default. This option displays the project panels in alphanumeric order of the project names.

The Changed Date and Created Date options display the panels in the order in which the projects were last changed and the order in which theh projects were created, respectively.

    • The second option allows you to sort the project panels in ascending or descending order (for example, in alphanumeric order or reverse alphanumeric order, when sorting by name).
  • By tags - See Using tags.
