Auto reporting of time based on mobility status change
Changing the mobility status to Start travel or Start operation creates a draft time transaction that is saved in cache. The information is used as the Start date and time for the created time transaction.
- In the Time Reports tab, a draft time report is created when mobility status is set to Start travel or Start operation.

In the Report Time dialog, specify this
information:
- Line Type
- By default, Line Type column is set to 2 -
Labor Time, by Start/Stop or 4 - Travel
Time, by Start/Stop when the mobility status is set
to Start operation or Start
travel respectively.Note: You can only update this field to other line type once Finish date and time is defined.
- Technician
- This field shows the name of the current user. Note: You can only update this field when Line type is changed to 1 - Labor Time, by Hours or 3 - Travel Time, by hours.
Using M3 Mobility Core Toolbox, select Field Service Settings > Operation Reporting params to control this parameter.
- Start date and time

By default, this column depends on the Start travel or Start operation mobility status timestamp. To specify a new value, tap or click the date picker.
- Finish date and time

By default, this column depends on the criteria specified below.
These mobility status updates the Actual Finish date and time specified in their respective time transaction:Start travel Start Operation Stop Travel Stop Operation Arrived on Site Stop/Interruption Stop/Interruption Finish Work Start Operation Reallocate Work Decline Decline Note: You can only change Finish date and time when you meet the criteria. To specify a new value, tap or click the date picker. - Labor charge code

You can opt to define the Labor charge code to indicate how time is classified. The default value depends on what is set to the Labor charge code or Travel charge code parameters in the M3 Mobility Core Toolbox.
- Costing type
- You can opt to define the Labor costing type to indicate how the time is calculated. The default value depends on what is set to the Labor costing type or Travel costing type parameters in the M3 Mobility Core Toolbox.
- Injury free
- Indicate if the employee is injury free after the work is completed.Note: By default, Injury free is set to Yes.
- Remark
- Optionally, you can specify a remark or comment.
- Submit for approval
- This field indicates if the time transaction is ready for
approval from the back office. Note: Submit for approval is selected by default. You also can no longer update the time reports created from mobility status change.
- Save as draft
- When you select this option and click Save,the corresponding entry in the Time Reports list shows a Draft indicator.

To save the record, tap or click SAVE. If you opt to discontinue the transaction, click
CANCEL.
Note: When you revert the mobility status from Start operation to Arrived on site, MFS prompts that you can delete the automatic time entry from Start operation. Similar to reverting mobility status, MFS also prompts that doing a reset to the work order deletes all the incomplete time transactions. You also have the option to delete all the time transactions for the work order.
When an auto generated time report with only the Start date and time set, you can only manually create line types 1 - Labor Time, by Hours and 3 - Travel Time, by Hours.
When an auto generated time report with only the Start date and time in cache is cleared, you can only create manual time reports and no auto time report is generated.
