Setting the user defined data for Warranty Check field

When creating a new work order or work request, you can use the Warranty Check flag to inform the user that the selected service has a warranty or not.

  1. Using the M3 Mobility Core Web Toolbox, select System configuration > Dialog design.
  2. Select ServiceAssignment dialog and go to the Dialog layout tab.
  3. On the Dialog Layout tab, select Create Work Order / Create Work Request.
  4. In the Main table directory under Create Work Order, click the sub tables to expand.
  5. Click a service to expand.
  6. Select WarrantyCheck and click the right arrow button.
  7. Using the arrows, move Service.WarrantyCheck below ServiceAssignment.ServiceID.
  8. Click the ellipsis button to display Control properties.
  9. From the Select control panel, select the check box and click Close.
  10. Click the ellipsis button again to display Control properties.
  11. Select Ready only and click Close.
