SPC Control Charts
An SPC Chart Set consists of multiple SPC chart definitions (a defined representation of data for a Variable or Attributes) grouped together for user convenience. A set contains charts that relate to:
- A specific inspection that measures multiple variables and attributes
- Key characteristics mentioned throughout a production process or production line
All charts in the set are retrieved using the same parameters and filters, such as date range, production line, or material. You can access these charts through various pre-configured options.
When an inspection is defined in Control Plan, the application automatically creates an SPC Chart Set with the same name. All variables inspected in any version of that inspection are included in the related SPC Chart Set. If an attribute check is performed during the inspection, a single attribute SPC analysis is also generated in the SPC Chart Set.
You can create multiple SPC Chart Sets, which can include similar or different SPC Charts based on the requirements. These can include SPC Chart Definitions from Variables measured across multiple Control Plans if required. Each SPC Chart Set includes a default date range, such as the last seven days. However, you can change this setting based on the requirement.
