Target cycle time
The Target Cycle Time (TCT) must be set correctly to give an accurate OEE figure.
A TCT that is too low can potentially calculate OEE above 100%. This means the line can run faster than the master data says it can run.
A TCT too high can make the manufacturing process looks like it is performing worse than it is. It is impossible for the line to run as fast as the master data says it can run.
