Inventory settings

In the Inventory tab, you can specify parameters for consumed inventory and created inventory.
  1. For Consumed Inventory, specify this information:
    Inventory Pack Traceability
    Select the level of traceability you want to assign to an inventory pack.
    FIFO Strategy
    Select the strategy you want to use to validate the FIFO sequence of inventory.
    BOM Under Consumption Warning Mode
    Select the type of warning you want to receive if there is under consumption of the part in a BOM.
    Inventory Allocation Strategy
    Select the strategy you want to validate the existence of inventory allocations for a production order.
    Allow Unknown Consumption
    Select whether unknown pack numbers can be consumed.
  2. For Created Inventory, specify this information:
    Reason Set
    Select or enter a value for the Change State Reason Set.
    FIFO Generation Mode
    Select the method of generating the FIFO number for inventory packs.
    You can select one of the standard modes or templates, or you can select User Defined to create a bespoke override.
    Use Before Period
    Set the period after inventory creation by which It should be used.
    Use After Period
    Set the period after inventory creation by which it can be used.
    Where, for the Use Before and Use After periods, you can set these values:
    • D: Days
    • H: Hours
    • M: Minutes
    • S: Sequence
  3. To add another material, select Next. Otherwise, select OK to add the material.
