Alternative BOM items

You have the option to add alternative materials to the BOM variant that might be used to account for manufacturing variations.

You can view or configure alternative BOM items in Configuration > Materials > Material Types > Materials > BOM variants > BOM items > Alternatives.

Note: Follow the same process of adding, deleting and retiring BOM items.
