Start Job Restrictions
Start Job Restrictions allow supervisors to define a skill that determine whether a user can start a production order on a specific line. The application verifies the user's skill level in relation to the required proficiency and decides whether to allow or deny the action accordingly.
Supervisors can apply this skill to an entire line type or a specific. Supervisors can add details to the skill based on these requirements:
- Routing
- Routing Operation Code
- Material Type
- Material Number
- Material Property
- Material Property Value
During the evaluation process, the application verifies all users signed onto the line to ensure that the required skill is present. If the skill is available, the user can start a job on the line when compliance requirements are met.
When routings are revised, the skill automatically updates to the new version. Supervisors do not require to update skills manually, as all changes are included in the latest version.
