Alarms

Alarms help supervisors to monitor skill compliance and identify exceptions. A skill can be bypassed in these scenarios:
  • If a user has a role that allows skill bypass.
  • If the skill is set to Preferred.

When a skill is bypassed, an alert is recorded in the alarm history database for supervisors. The alarm displays who bypassed the skill, which skill is involved, and the time of the event. If all skill requirements are bypassed for a user, an alarm indicating that the skill requirements check is bypassed. If a user does not have preferred skills, an alarm is triggered for each skill that is missing.
