Examples of use

Refer these examples on how to use the reports with different filter and grouping options to analyze production data.

Production running total by day and line

A trend line of daily production compared across lines. This helps viewing the lines that perform comparatively better and the days on which lines achieved the best performance.

You can perform these steps to view the trend line:

  1. Specify a value in the Time Frame field on the Time Frame filter tab. For example, Last Month.
  2. Select Day and Line in the Group by field on the Grouping filter tab.
  3. Select the Include Running Totals check box on the Grouping filter tab.
  4. Select the lines in the Line Group field on the Equipment filter. You can also select the lines individually.
  5. Click Apply. The report is displayed.
  6. Click the graph icon and select the Production Running Total by Grouping 1 and Grouping 2 chart. A line chart is displayed with the days on the x-axis, the cumulative quantity on the y-axis, and a trend line for each Line.

Total counts by machine for last shift

You can use the total production count for each machine in the last shift to compare machine output and analyze the performance of the machine.

You can perform these steps to view the counts:

  1. Select Last Shift in the Time Frame field on the Time Frame filter tab.
  2. Set the Group by field to Shift and Machine on the Grouping filter.
  3. Select the required value in the Machine Type field to limit results to machines with similar properties on the Equipment filter.
  4. Click Apply. The report is displayed.
  5. Click the graph icon and select the Production by Grouping 1 stacked by Grouping 2 chart. A bar chart is displayed with the shift on x-axis, the quantity on y-axis, and a bar for each machine.
