Notification

The Notification widget displays the number of actionable items from a data source. The display is based on the value specified in the Notification Source field. This field is displayed when you click the Add a new area option in the Areas section of the Dashboard Builder screen. For example:

• If the Notification Source field is set to Output Field, the Output Field field is displayed, where you must specify a value. The widget displays the actionable items based on the value that is specified.
• If the Notification Source field is set to Count Rows, the application verifies the records returned by the data source. The notifications display in red if one or more records are available. Else, displays in green.
