Context Mapping
A dashboard displays widgets from multiple data sources. Each data source uses predefined filters to display specific data. You can apply additional filters to these data sources on a dashboard. For example, filtering a data source by a specific production line. The option on the Dashboard Builder screen allows you to configure dashboard-level filters. You can map the output of one data source as a filter for another data source. This mapping passes a value from a dashboard filter or another data source, to filter the destination data source.
On the Dashboard Settings section, you can configure the context mapping for a dashboard. Alternatively, you can use the context menu of a widget to populate the mapping for a specific widget.
