Dashboard Areas

A dashboard area is a single dashboard screen that contains widgets. Dashboards areas allow you to create complex dashboards by separating canvases for specific purposes. You can configure areas in multiple ways, such as adding area navigation, using area tabs, or converting an area to a notification section.

You can drag and drop an area to set the required order. The order is displayed in the area navigation and area panel. To change the order, select an area in the configuration panel, drag to the required position in the list, and release. For areas with area navigation enabled, the position updates automatically in the navigation.

To view and configure areas, navigate to Application Configuration > Configuration > Dashboard Library > Dashboard Builder > Areas.

You can use these options on the Area Configuration window:

• Add a new area: Allows you to create a new area on the dashboard.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing area.
• Delete: Allows you to delete the existing area.
