Adding a widget

  1. Select Application Configuration > Configuration > Application > Dashboard Library. The Dashboard Library screen is displayed.
  2. Click an existing dashboard tile. The Dashboard Builder screen is displayed.
  3. Click Edit. A confirmation prompt is displayed.
  4. Click Confirm.
  5. Select a topic from the Select a Topic section. The Select a Data Source section is displayed.
  6. Select a data source from the Data Source section. The Select a Widget Types section is displayed.
  7. Select a Bespoke widget from the Widget Types section. The Add New icon is displayed.
  8. Drag and place the widget icon on the dashboard. The Widget Builder screen is displayed.
    Note: These are the available widget types in the Bespoke widget:
    • Document
    • Icon
    • Linear Gauge
    • Percent Bar
    • Percent Circle
    • Radial Circle
    • Radial Gauge
    • Task Bar
    • Text
    • Text value
  9. Configure the required information.
    Note: Each widget has a different configuration panel and requires mandatory fields that you must specify before saving the widget to the widget canvas.
  10. Click Save.

You can perform these actions on the Widget Builder screen:

  • Resize a widget: Use a resize indicator in the bottom-right of the widget. The widget scales up or down to fit the dashboard layout and the content on the widget adjusts automatically to the new size.
  • Arrange widgets: Select the widget and drag to a new location. If a widget cannot fit in the available space, a red indicator is displayed.
  • Remove a widget: Use the ‘x’ icon in the top right of the widget.
