Card Builder

This section provides information to configure a card widget in the card builder within Infor MES. This section also explains how to access the various card builders, create mobile and desktop cards, add widgets, and set preferences.

You must understand the role of data sources in creating a dashboard before using the Card Builder. You must understand the correct context to use a card visualization to create effective cards for dashboard or mobile grids. You must also have knowledge on the modules in MES and Application Configuration. This knowledge helps you to configure cards effectively.

The Card Builder screen allows you to create widgets on the dashboard. This provides multiple options and capabilities for creating personalized widgets.

The Card Builder screen can be accessed from the Dashboard Builder screen. To open the card builder, select a topic from the Select a Topic section, select the data source from the Data Source section. Select the Card widget type from the widget type section and drag the Add New icon to the dashboard.

You can perform these actions on the Card Builder screen:

• Add or remove rows from the card canvas, using the plus and minus icons.
• Assign tasks in the Configure Tasks section.
• Add a title in the Card Configuration Settings section.
• Save the changes, using the Save option.
